2021 was a particularly testing year for most of us. With pandemic ‘comfortably’ settled-in and not showing any signs of ending soon, the year proved to be challenging to many communities across Lower Mainland, and beyond.
The above video encapsulates GNFK’s involvement in many nationally and internationally recognized projects and events that affected millions of people.
From small successes achieved by the support of a local community, we have grown tremendously and achieved triumphant goals by the end of the year, with the help of our loyal and generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
All that was achieved in 2021 is a testament of the power of the community coming together and working as a single unit. We could not have done any of it without each and every one of our supporters. From a single bag of rice, to a $100,000.00 donation.
Every contribution in between made it possible for Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen to assist those in the most need through some of the hardest times yet.
