COVID-19:  During the pandemic GNFK continued to serve those in need within COVID-19 protocols.  Meals were also delivered to the DTES neighbourhood house and the Aboringial Mothers Centre as well as tonnes of groceries to local shelters and gurdwaras.

Flood Relief:  in 2021, BC suffered severe floods resulting in thousands of victims cut off from food and essential supplies.  GNFK with it’s partner Khalsa Aid Canada and Helicopters Without Borders delivered thousands of much needed supplies to flood affected areas (Abbotsford, Chiiliwack, Hope and Merrit).
